Frog of the Day

The real story is not that the cow jumped over the moon, but that the frog read poetry to the moon. I guess something got lost in the translation . . .

This collectible ornament is from Katherine's Collection. It is a frog on the moon. This frog is dressed in a purple jester's uniform. With many of Katherine's ornaments, several varieties are released where the frog is dressed in different colors. It is a lot of fun to collect her ornaments.

Frog of the Day

It's been a worried morning here at Frog Central. The resident Frog Wrangler, aka Shadow lost her favorite toy. A frantic search ensued and finally the toy was found. Now can I please go back to bed?

This frog item is a Knit Jersey Comforter which claims (and I agree) feels like your favorite t-shirt. The pattern is called Pond Party. This item was purchased from The Frog Store (link is in the right hand column). It's great after a day of frog collecting to wrap yourself up in a frog comforter. There is also a sheet set that matches the comforter.

Frog of the Day

Tim Wolfe - Tee For Two
Originally uploaded by KenCalvino.
Saturday morning and the frogs all wanted to take part in the Live 8 concert. But with the beautiful weather here, a couple decided to hop off to the golf course!

This collectible is from Tim Wolfe Sculpture and is called Tee for Two. It is item number 2002 and is a limited edition piece. Mine is number 1 of 344. This piece dates to 2001.

From the card:

Who let the frogs out!

These two amphibians had no idea what Cupid had in store for them today! When our little green friend climbed up on this mushroom, he was hoping to get a better view of the golf course he calls home. Just for the heck of it, he threw out a few "ribits" from his elevated position. The next thing you know, he's looking into the eyes of one fabulous female frog, who has hopped on top of this funny, dimpled ball to get a better look at something, too. HIM! It was love at first sight.

"Coffee, tee, or me?" she asked in her soft, sultry voice. They've been a twosome ever since.
